This project was focused on creating imagry from another person’s imagined world. I was paired with a colleague who’s world was centered on a post-apocalyptic New York City where large carnivorous plants had taken over.
I began with collecting images of different locations and their corresponding plants (Manhattan paired with Venus Flytraps and Brooklyn with Pitcher Plants). The process was largely based on putting images into Photoshop and moving them around until they fell into place. Once the plants were where I wanted, I went through to color match the scene and blend the components together.
